Law 531- Final slideshow project is due Wednesday. Students will be completing their presentations on Wednesday and Thursday.
History 621- Symposium projects will start on Thursday in class and then the rest will take place on Friday morning.

Law 531- Students should have passed in both part 1 and part2 of the civil law assignment. Students were given their topic for the final project (serves as your exam) it is due Wednesday January 25.
Geography 531- No class today due to the Kids Sport fundraiser with 105.5 The Hot. All 10 European countries in 10 days slideshows should be passed in!!! I will only accept them until this Friday.
History 621- We did trivia review for the WWII quiz which will be written on Thursday. Blog due Wednesday.
Law 531- Civil law: we discussed torts (intentional and unintentional). Also, students completed an in class assignment.
Geography 531- Continued viewing of Schindler’s List.
History 621- Examined WWII and events happening at home. Symposium topics MUST be submitted by Monday. WWII test will be on Wednesday.
Law 531- Watched the film based on a true story called A Civil Action.
History 621- We finished up Saving Private Ryan then went to the computer lab. Students should have indicated the topic for the symposium…if not yet decided get to it. Blog response due today deals with Canada and the monarchy. Also, there is a new blog post due next Wed dealing with the movie Saving private Ryan.
Geography 531- Worked in lab. Project 10 European countries in 10 days in due today!
Law 531- Examined case studies involving youth in Chapter 12.
Geography 531- Students worked in the lab on the project 10 European countries in 10 days. Should be near completion…it is due next week.
History 621- Discussed Dieppe raid as well as DDay. Problem loading slideshows today…will try to put them on blog on weekend (sorry but tech difficulties).
Law 531- Continued discussion of the YCJA and the rights of youth.
Geography 531- Reviewed questions on the United Kingdom. Then read and responded to article about changes to the British monarchy.
History 621- Brief discussion of WWII Battle of the Atlantic in class. Proceeded to lab: new blog posting as well as students given handout for final symposium project.
A belated Happy New Year to all students. Hope 2012 is a great year for us all.
Law 531- Discussed the Youth Criminal Justice Act. What rights do youth have?
History 621- Finished the film about Hitler’s life before WWII. We then examined the timeline of events leading to the outbreak of war in 1939.
Geography 531- We read a section in the textbook about the United Kingdom. Students should have completed the 4 questions assigned in class.
Law 531- Students that did not previously pass in the Chapter 11 assignment should have done so today.
Geography 531- Europe: 10 countries in 10 days assignment was worked on in the lab all week. Students should be half finished at this point.
History 621- We watched the student “Heritage Minute” videos.
Law 531- We did a review of Criminal Offences and Criminal Defences. Tomorrow we will begin to examine sentencing and corrections.
Geography 531- Students are working on their major project for the Europe Unit (10 countries in 10 days slideshow).
History 621- We watched most of the student Photo Essayprojects today. Well done! Reminder, Heritage Minute Video projects (vid, storyboard, script) due Friday.
Law 531- Started Chapter 10 Criminal Defence. If you did not finish the list of terms and an example for each in class you have homework.
Geography 531- Reminder of the Africa Quiz on Thursday. Today we started a new unit on Europe and Russia. Several students owe me assignments….if you are one of these people they need to be handed in ASAP.
History 621- This is a busy week so make smart use of your time. Today we finished the Immigration slideshow. Here is the “To Do” list: Blog response due Wed, Storyboard rough draft due Thursday, Immigration take home test due Thursday, Photo Essay due Monday, and most importantly Heritage Minute Video Project due next Friday Dec 16.
